DAY 1: HOI AN: HD CITY TOUR FROM SAILOR TO TAILOR
This morning, free time at leisure to explore the town or join in our optional cooking class.
In the late afternoon, ease into Hoi An with an early evening orientation that sets the stage for your stay in this UNESCO-listed ancient town. As the sun dips and lanterns glow, you'll gain a sense of the town’s rich history, its multicultural architecture, and its living traditions — from centuries-old buildings to the contemporary craft of tailoring.
The experience begins at the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, a 16th-century landmark also depicted on the 20,000 VND note. Learn about its historical roots and spiritual significance before continuing along Hoi An’s timeworn lanes. You'll uncover the blend of cultural influences behind its preserved architecture, and visit a family home inhabited by 14 generations — a rare glimpse into the town’s enduring heritage. We'll also touch on the local tailoring scene, a craft that continues to drive creativity and commerce among Hoi An’s artisans.

- This orientation takes place in the early evening. If you book onto the Ba Na Hills optional excursion, you will not be able to attend the evening orientation of Hoi An.

This afternoon, immerse yourself in the vibrant culinary and cultural tapestry of Vietnam with a visit to Tra Que Vegetable Village, starting with a tour of a local market.
Our culinary journey begins at a quaint café, where a refreshing iced coffee sets the tone for the day. Next, explore a bustling local market, interacting with vendors and discovering the fresh ingredients destined for your cooking class. A short drive takes you to the Wharf for a picturesque boat ride to Tra Que Village, offering glimpses of riverside life. Upon arrival, enjoy an organic welcome drink and the serene beauty of the gardens, witnessing local farmers engage in age-old agricultural practices. Participate in farming, fishing, or unwind with a relaxing massage before starting your cooking class. Guided by experts, learn to prepare Vietnamese dishes, understanding the unique flavours and techniques that define the cuisine. The experience culminates in a lunch where you'll enjoy the fruits of your labour.

DAY 2 : HOI AN - QUY NHON: SON MY MEMORIAL – SA HUYNH
Start your journey from Hoi An and travel towards Son My Memorial, where you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the tragic history of the My Lai Massacre. This visit offers a poignant insight into one of Vietnam’s most significant wartime events.
Continue to Sa Huynh, a coastal gem where you can enjoy a relaxing coffee break (at your leisure) while taking in the stunning beach views. This picturesque stop provides a perfect moment to unwind and reflect amid the tranquil seaside surroundings. The day concludes with an evening at leisure at your hotel in Quy Nhon.

DAY 3 : QUY NHON - NHA TRANG: MOUNTAIN PASSES
Today, we'll continue our journey towards the coastal city of Nha Trang, taking in a blend of scenic landscapes and cultural encounters along the way.
Our first stop is a panoramic viewpoint just south of Quy Nhon, overlooking a peaceful fishing village nestled along the coast — a wonderful introduction to the rhythms of local life. From there, we visit a local bamboo boat maker to discover the skill behind crafting Vietnam’s iconic basket boats, still widely used in fishing communities. Continuing the journey, we travel through the dramatic Co Ma and Ca mountain passes, pausing en route to admire sweeping views of the coastline and the incredibly picturesque Vung Ro Bay before arriving in Nha Trang.

DAY 4 : NHA TRANG – PHAN RANG: HANDCRAFTS & VINEYARDS
This morning, set out on a scenic journey from Nha Trang to Phan Rang, taking in cultural experiences and dramatic coastal landscapes along the way.
The day begins with a visit to Long Son Pagoda, an important spiritual site known for its giant seated Buddha and hilltop views over Nha Trang. Next, stop at a local craft centre where skilled artisans showcase traditional Vietnamese handicraft techniques. From here, follow the breathtaking coastal roads of Vinh Hy, pausing at the Hang Rai ocean viewpoint for sweeping views of sea-carved rock formations and vivid blue waters. If in season, we’ll also visit a local grape farm to sample fresh produce and learn about the region’s viticulture. On arrival in Phan Rang, settle into your accommodation.
* Please note: The tour begins at 8:00 AM and concludes upon arrival at your accommodation. Total distance is approximately 150 km. Respectful dress is required for temple visits, covering knees and shoulders. Long Son involves climbing approximately 250 steps.

Upon arrival in Mui Ne, check in to your accommodation and enjoy the peaceful seaside atmosphere.

DAY 7 : MUI NE - HO CHI MINH CITY: TA CU MOUNTAIN & CABLE CAR RIDE - REUNIFICATION PALACE - TOUR ENDS
Today we make for the vibrant metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City with some final coastal views before we arrive.
Begin your day at Ta Cu Mountain with a cable car ride offering panoramic views and a visit to the reclining Buddha. Continue to the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, where you'll explore the historic Reunification Palace, a symbol of South Vietnam’s government and the site of the war’s end in 1975. Visit its war room, banquet hall, and presidential office before concluding the day with a hotel check-in and an evening at leisure.
Tour ends. Check-out time: 12:00 PM on the following day.
